Can a person pray for salvation for someone dead?

You can pray all you want..But, according to the Bible, a person while alive must make the decision about asking Jesus to be their savior.To forgive their sins.
What I am trying to say? Better get on the bus gus!
Jesus will save anyone who calls upon him for forgiveness. He is the only way to the father,anyone from buddah to the pope can’t save us…It has to be between Jesus and us.
