Two Prophets

January 4, 2020

AT THE BEBGINNING Chapter 11: The Two Witnesses The first 13 verses contain a description of God’s two final end-time servants known as the Two Witnesses. Ridiculous interpretations, and at least one Hollywood movie, have brought much confusion as to who these men are. These two great “prophets” (vs. 10) witness for three-and-a-half years before […]

What power there is in the written Word of God! On January 4, 2020 By charlieIn Ephesians, Luke “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry. 3 The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’” 5 The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours.” 8 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” 9 The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here. 10 For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; 11 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” 12 Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time” (Luke 4:1-13). Some people try to dismiss the Bible, with the words, “It’s only a book.” What are we to say to this? We say, “Yes. It is a book” – but we, also, add this: “What a book!” When, in the wilderness, Jesus was tempted by the devil, he gave this answer: “It is written … .” What power there is in the written Word of God! – it is “the sword of the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:17). \

tion inspirational Don’t Be Afraid Of Change For The Better; Be Afraid Of Staying The Same! by edna|Published January 4, 2020 Don’t be afraid of change for the better. Be afraid of staying the same! When we’re no longer able to change a situation, we’re challenged to change ourselves. It takes courage, discipline & focus. There’s so much confusion around us and we lack clarity of mind. We’re worried and anxious, always thinking about our problems. It’s time we calm ourselves down and tone open minded when it comes to making a decision that will bring about change. The decisions you make today produce the destiny you will live out tomorrow. Many of us waited till January 1st to make a new start and many are yet to get started on a new page. I understand that letting go isn’t easy, but, I’ve learned over time that things change, people change, and it doesn’t mean you forget the past or try to cover it up; it simply means that you move on and treasure the memories. Letting go doesn’t mean giving up, it means accepting that some things weren’t meant to be. Get up and make that decision now! Change isn’t just necessary to life; it is life itself. Life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better with change. Our life changes so quickly that even in a second so many things happen. But it is in these life changing moments that we laugh, mourn, grow, suffer, rejoice, endure, cry and live. It is in those moments that we make and create memories that lasts a lifetime. Get rid of every negative energy and emotions around you. Change your thoughts, change the way you see things if what you see isn’t changing. Negative emotions will bring about negative consequences. Just as we learn how helpful love & compassion can be, we also understand that anger, pride, jealousy and arrogance can be detrimental. So always choose to respond positively. It will have a huge impact on your life. Any time you need a new beginning, simply call on the name of the Lord Jesus because He makes everything new. Give all your worries and cares to God because He cares about you. Remove everything that’s causing grieve, sorrow & stress in your lives. Seek your strength from the Almighty. Do it single-mindedly. You’ll get there! ‬ Blessings and Love ❤️💕 Photo by Paul Skorupskas, Ross Findon. Share this: TwitterFacebook Like this:

Why Wasn’t I Born a Jew?

January 4, 2020

By Yisroel Cotlar Question: I have been studying Judaism for some time, and am deep into the conversion process. I love this religion and cannot picture my life without it. I can’t help but wonder why a person like me, who loves Judaism, was born a gentile. Why wasn’t my soul worthy enough to be […]
